What methods of payment do you accept?
Bank Wire Transfer, moneygram, cash. We DO NOT accept personal or business checks OR Credit Cards.
How much damage will I get?
Damage varies from pallet to pallet and truckload to truckload. There is no way to say exactly how much damage you will get, but as a general rule you can expect an average of 30% damage on returned merchandise
How much is shipping?
Shipping varies depending on where you are located, and what you are shipping. Pallet shipping is based on weight and truckload shipping is based on distance. We can arrange all shipping for you, or you can arrange it yourself. Give us a call and we can get you a freight quote
Is any of your merchandise guaranteed?
No. We are in the salvage business. We make no guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied, and without limitation, of merchandise fitness or marketability. All sales are final.
Do I have to deface the merchandise?
Yes. All merchandise must be defaced and de-tagged. Contact us for details on defacing.
Who pays for shipping?
The buyer is responsible for all freight charges.
CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE:
Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation is in the asset recovery business, serving major department stores and
manufacturers nationwide and helping them dispose of unwanted inventory. This inventory can consist of customer returns, department store returns, factory seconds, irregulars, damaged merchandise, overstocks, and distressed merchandise and out of season goods. There are clear risks to buying salvage and returns, and it is not recommended that people venture into such agreements without fully educating themselves first on the risks. Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation assumes and accepts no responsibilities to those that experience losses of any kind as a result of purchasing such items.
Any verbal or written correspondence regarding working averages are only approximations and not binding on Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation. These percentages vary greatly – especially on LTL purchases – and should be treated accordingly. All manifests that are given are approximate and done to the best of our ability. Shortages can and do occur. No compensation will be given for any discrepancies between product received and manifest, manifest is to be taken as a guide only.

In order to provide you with department store returns at prices below cost, certain restrictions on sales must be met. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that all these conditions are met, failure to do so could result in severe fines being imposed, usually well above the cost of the actual merchandise being bought and sold. If buyer is not ultimate re-seller, then it is their responsibility to ensure that their customer complies with these conditions.
• Buyer must remove or deface any identifying marks (tags, labels, price stickers etc) from the product that may be traced back to the store from which it was purchased.
• Buyer may not advertise any store names or store brands anywhere – this restriction includes auctions listings.
• Merchandise may not be re-sold within a 50 mile radius of the stores.
• Buyer agrees to allow representatives of Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation or any of the mentioned stores to routinely inspect buyer’s premises to ensure compliance with the above terms.
• The above restrictions apply to the following stores and brand names:
o Target, Wal-Mart, Sears, K-Mart, J C Penney, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Rite Aid, Bon Marche, Burdines, Circuit City, Best Buy, Costco, Mervyn’s
o Craftsman, Kenmore, LXI, INC, Alfani, Style & Co, Emma James, Jennifer Moore, Tasso Elba, Charter club, Clubroom, Green Dog
Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. As a courtesy Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation will help arrange to facilitate shipping, but responsibility remains with the buyer. Any claims for delays, lost in transit, additional delivery charges must be made directly with the carrier responsible. Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation sells all goods FOB warehouse only. Additionally, any items paid for but not claimed within 5 business days will be disposed of unless prior written permission is obtained from Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation.
I have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of this agreement. I agree to purchase goods from Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation under the policies described in this agreement. I authorize Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation to keep this agreement on file and apply these policies to all future transactions made between the Company and myself until I have notified Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation in writing. In signing this agreement, I chose to waive my rights to any claims against Sierra’s Merchandise Liquidation in the event of losses, missing quantities and defective items found in the goods I purchased.
